Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream is the first series of the Pretty Rhythm anime. It revolves around Aira Harune, Rizumu Amamiya, and Mion Takamine in their struggles to become Prism Stars while dealing with problems in their personal lives. It started airing in April 2011, and concluded in April of 2012 with 51 episodes in total. It was succeeded with a second anime series that takes place 3 years later, with the three girls as secondary characters instead of primary.
