Synopsis[]
After catching the Prism Show on television, Aira leaves home to do errands. But while window shopping she nearly bumps into another girl and does an amazing jump to avoid her; and witnessing this, Jun requests Aira fill in for an absent girl in the upcoming Prism Show!
Full Summary[]
Aira walks into the living room and prepares to turn off the television until her younger siblings stop her. She is surprised to see them interested in figure skating and watches as a girl on the program performs the legendary, special jump known as the Aurora Rising. They bring up how popular skating is currently and Eru and Uru, her sisters suggest that she try it. But after Itsuki denies Aira having any skill, she tries to show them how graceful she can be only to land wrongly and fall over. Itsuki insults her impulsiveness.
It's then an announcement about Mion Takamine comes on, saying she will be making her debut in conjunction with a performance by the popular boy idol group, Callings. Aira is delighted, but her siblings don't know who Mion is, causing her to bring up how much she admires her as a popular, world-traveling model. They are joined by Hiro, their father, who asks Aira to pick up some strawberry, blueberry and kiwi from town. Before she can leave, he hands her a change of clothing and complains over the indecency of her current outfit. Aira disagrees but she's forced to change anyway. While everyone else compliments it she isn't very happy, nor is Omi, her mother, who is frustrated that her husband would waste money on clothing they don't need. She takes the clothing and quickly changes it into a pair of outfits and accessories for Eru and Uru, allowing Aira to leave in higher spirits.
Finishing her errand, Aira decides to do a little window shopping before heading home. She heads to the Mall and observes the mannequin inside, becoming inspired to change the outfit a little to make them look nicer, until the worker scolds her. She leaves and heads to her most favorite shop, Prism Stone. She spots a cute pink skating outfit on display and begins to fantasize herself wearing it- until a loud girl snaps her out of it, running in her direction. Both girls suddenly jump out of instinct to avoid each other as a man observes them nearby. While the mysterious girl lands with grace, Aira falls to the floor. The girl offers her hand to Aira and takes off once she assures her she is fine. Then she is approached by Jun, who asks Aira to come with him. She is suspicious but he grabs her wrist and leads her elsewhere.
There, the staff is concerned because Mion hasn't shown up yet. They question Aira and to her surprise, the girl from before reappears. She claims not to know Aira, but she is sure things will be fine. Aira is clueless until Jun explains that with Mion not showing up, they want Aira to take her place debuting in the Prism Show. Aira doesn't look athletic, but it doesn't matter since they just need a replacement for the time being. Aira attempts to tell them she doesn't skate as they hand over some Prism Stones to each girl. Jun explains how they work and sends the duo along, where they taken to the Prism Stone World. There is a young adult, Maganee, who explains that she is there to guide Prism Stars. While Aira is still concerned she is amazed by the many clothing items surrounding them, and they step into a machine to change.
On the rink, the girls find the audience is irritated by Mion not showing up. In her stress, Aira falls over while Rizumu begins to perform. Aira is amazed by her skill but seeing the audience get bored and frustrated over Rizumu's lack of Prism Jumps, and she snaps out of her panic by Jun's yelling. Their manager -Kyoko- is concerned for their debut but Jun assures her they will be fine.
Aira forces herself to rise, refusing to give up without trying. She gently glides on the ice and the audience quiets down, and to everyone's amazement she suddenly performs a Prism Jump. The crowd cheers wildly as she lands, but she's unable to stop and skates off of the rink and lands on Shou, the lead of Callings. They were watching from the sidelines. Shou compliments Aira and kisses her forehead, making her extremely flustered.
