Ken Shiotani is a chef at a restaurant near Pretty Top. Due to his fights with his childhood friend Kurumi, they scared away customers, and he was almost forced to shut down. However, Sprouts came and made him realize his feelings for Kurumi. He proposed to her with the omelets that he made for her when they were young that she liked so much. She accepted, and they became engaged. Jae Eun had a quick crush on him, and then decided to give up so she could cheer him and Kurumi on.

Ken's family name Shiotani literally means "salt valley." His surname refers to his profession of cooking.
