Hijiri Himuro is the former chairman of the Prism Show Association and the new supervisor of Edel Rose.

History

Hijiri was a Prism Star that used to belong in Edel Rose. He met Juné 4-5 years ago before the Prism King Cup. He was enticed by the beauty of her dance and related it to the Prism Show techniques of his mother. It is later revealed that Hijiri loved Juné from the first time he saw her since her physical appearance (which was actually a fake human disguise) resembled that of his late mother.

In the past, Hijiri was a skilled Prism Star in his prime, with his closest rivals being Rei Kurokawa, a street dancer and Jin Norizuki, the son of the previous supervisor of Edel Rose. While he maintained cordial relations with Rei, his relationship with Jin was anything but that, with the latter openly exuding jealously and hate towards Hijiri. During the Prism King Cup, Hijiri managed to finish ahead of Rei due to the latter having points are taken from him for using a move not officially recognized by the judges but failed to capitalize on his luck by botching one of his Prism Jumps later on, which led to Jin winning as a result.

Sometime later on, which was shown to be after he had met and established a relationship with June, Hijiri had taken her to an ice skating rink to show off his skills. Unbeknownst to him, however the rink itself had already been sabotaged by accomplices of Jin, who was jealous of his talent. June detected the sabotage and tried to warn him, but it was already too late as he fell into a huge crack in the ice, which damaged his leg and ended his career as a Prism Star. As a result of his career-ending injury, Jin won by default once again, as Rei had pulled out of the competition and went incognito upon knowing that he would be unable to compete against Hijiri fair and square.

In the last episode, it is shown that he confessed to Juné again as she lost her memories. He also replaces Jin as the new supervisor of Edel Rose, after the latter was fired from his position.

Prism Jumps

During his prime, he was able to perform 4 jumps, but failed at the fourth jump because the ice beneath him broke, giving him the injury and unable to compete for the FLY! Skyhigh Session.

Etymology

Hijiri's given name means "sacred" or "virtuous." His surname Himuro means "ice room."
